Brecksville, Ohio | February 26, 2014 – Hyson announced today its Press Solutions’ servo-controlled cushion has been selected to enhance the forming of complex aerospace parts by a Dayton, Ohio company. Enginetics Aerospace, a leader of best-in class manufacturing for the global aerospace industry, selected Hyson’s technology, in addition to a servo press from Aida America, for a recent expansion project.
Hyson’s servo-controlled cushion technology, offered in five different tiers, offers real time precision control resulting in increased productivity. While linked directly to the press, the Hyson cushion complements servo press technology by accurately and precisely dialing in the force at a specific position needed for critical forming processes not possible with conventional equipment. The user-friendly touch screen display provides for ease of use, and simple programming. On-board health monitoring and diagnostics combined with an optional wireless direct service link provides the user with real time service and maintenance support from the Hyson Press Solutions Team.
“The Hyson team is committed to delivering innovative solutions and helping customers improve their processes” said Hank Kelm, General Manager of Hyson, “with advanced materials becoming more popular, Hyson provides stampers the added force in addition to the flexibility and precision control to produce better quality parts faster.” Darrell Quander, Sales and Product Manager, Press Solutions added “The Hyson team is very proud to work with and design a custom solution for Enginetics Aerospace that will add value to their operation and the customers they serve”.
